Abstract:

This study determined the academic performance and perception of Grade 7 students on the independent learning strategies used in the English class. The study used the descriptive research design and involved all the Grade 7 students in the Colegio as respondents. On a five-point rating scale, the respondents were asked to evaluate if the independent learning strategies used in the English class were observed. The grades of the students were also analyzed based on the equivalent letter grade.
