Abstract:

This research explored the constructs of the ABCOM alumni of Letran Calamba that led them to their own understandings of the word communication. Specifically, the study 1) identified the communication constructs of ABCOM alumni; 2) determined how the communication context in the AB Communication program experienced by the alumni shape these constructs; and 3) analyzed the work experiences of ABCOM alumni and the prior constructs they learned from the program in shaping their communication constructs. Phenomenology and Constructivism were the theoretical underpinnings, and thematic analysis was the method employed in the study. The researchers invited 15 alumni key informants for interview.
