Abstract:

This research determined the effectiveness of the intervention to the aggressiveness level of inmates in the New Bilibid Prison. Using a questionnaire parallel to Buss-Perry Aggressiveness test, the researchers determined the following: the aggressiveness level of the inmates when grouped according to their social characteristics as to civil status, religion, and age; the relationship between the aggressiveness levels of the inmates and their social characteristics; the aggressiveness level of the inmates before and after conducting the intervention; and the significant difference of their aggressiveness level before and after conducting the intervention. Using an ABA experimental design, the researchers classified 13 out of 46 juvenile delinquents of the Medium Security Compound of the New Bilibid Prison as Highly Aggressive and gave them an intervention. A post-test was conducted afterwards to determine if the aggressiveness level had changed.
