Abstract:

This study delved into the experiences of children with parents suffering from cancer. It investigated the children’s experiences in thoughts, feelings, reactions and how they responded to their parents’ diagnosis of cancer. Six children from Madre De Amor Hospice Foundation in Los Baños Laguna were interviewed and the data gathered were    analyzed and interpreted using Colaizzi Phenomenological Method (1978) to extract meaningful units and formulate themes anchored in the study.
