Abstract:

In her keynote address, Chairperson Licuanan reflects on her personal experiences and growth as a psychologist who wanted to serve the nation and uses this personal reflection to review important developments in Philippine psychology and in the Psychological Association of the Philippines. She  discusses the continuing challenges that face Philippine psychology as it seeks to strengthen its role in nation building.
