The Level of Knowledge on the Role of Greenology in Climate Change Adaptation and Mitigation Practices in the Selected Hotels in Davao City

Abstract:

Global warming is one of the top issues concerning the world today. This study attempted to determine the level of knowledge of the hotel staff on the role of Greenology in climate change mitigation and adaptation practices in the selected hotels in Davao City. Research instrument was used in this study through a survey questionnaire. The researchers purposively have chosen the respondents among the five different hotels in Davao City to reach 100 target respondents. The results were carefully analyzed and computed using weighted mean and t-test to determine the significant difference where the level of significance is set at 0.05. Results showed that the hotel staffs are knowledgeable on greenology and it has established no significant difference when grouped according to their sex.
