The Characteristics of the University of the Immaculate Conception Hotel and Restaurant Management Graduates in the Workplace from the Lens of their Immediate Heads

Abstract:

The purpose of this study was to gain insights on the characteristics of the University of the Immaculate Conception (UIC) Hotel and Restaurant Management (HRM) graduates in the workplace. This covers their performances inside their respective workplaces in order to determine the skills and areas that need to be improved. The participants conducted the study to device a plan and how to improve their personal attributes, personality traits, inherent social cues, or communication abilities needed for their success on their job, and less quantifiable than hard skills that include specific knowledge and abilities of the UIC-HRM graduates. The data for the study were gathered with the use of a one on one interview with the selected managers, and or supervisors of the different hotels in Davao City.
