Abstract:

The American Studies Association of the Philippines (ASAP) staged its 2001 Annual Assembly as an International Conference, with the theme "Back to the Future: Perspectives in the Thomasite Legacy to the Philippine Education." The conference, which drew participants from throughout the Philippines and abroad, was held on 24-25 August 2001, at the Escaler hall of Ateneo de Manila University, Loyola Heights campus, in Quezon City, RP.
