Gauge Interactions and the B-Function in the Grassmannian Su(5) Delbourgo-Jarvis-Warner Model

Abstract:

The gauge interactions of SU(S) multiplets in the Delbourgo-Jarvis-Warner(DIW) model are presented. From these interaction terms, the SU(S) generators for the respective multiplets are obtained and the β-function for the DJW model is determined. It is shown that, as expected, the DJW model, although anomaly-free, is not asymptotically-free.
