Online Admission Process Management System for Colegio de San Juan de Letran Calamba with SMS, E-mail Notification, and Data Visualization

Abstract:

In today’s digital age, many learning institutions have shifted from manual process to online admission to provide more efficient services. Online Admission System is an innovation of the manual process of accepting applicants to provide wider accessibility and greater speed. The proposed system will overcome the problem of maintaining paper-based records and focus on the digital reports generated by the system. In addition to the technology, the researcher’s proposed system will be sending push-in emails and SMS notifications given by the Admission Office to notify the students about the results of their application. The system also contains an entrance examination management that allows the guidance personnel to create an entrance examination and add additional subjects and programs that will be used in the program suggestion feature. In the testing of the developed system, it was found that the system was able to make the admission process easier, efficient, and more technologically advanced compared to the manual process that they are currently using. The system will greatly contribute to the digital improvement of the institution.
