Online Barangay Health Center Form Improvisation with Health Record Data Visualization Report for Barangay Masili

Abstract:

The barangay health center provides health care services to the members of the barangay. It provides free checkup for all ages and renders primary care services in the community. This study aimed to help the barangay health center to create a hassle free and reliable way of constructing health records and data visualizations. Based on the interview with the midwife in Masili Barangay Health Center, they have troubles in modifying the existing forms in their current system. As a result, they sometimes lose the records because of the many forms that they are handling. The midwife, together with barangay health officers, wanted a new system that could help them to add new categories in their existing form to easily enter new data when the City Health Office sends new forms to them. In relation to them, the researchers developed a Barangay Health Center Form Improvisation with Health Record Data Visualization Report to lessen the work of the health staff. The data visualization report function will help them to easily analyze the reports made by the system. Based on the survey results, the study concluded that the system had met all the study’s objectives and its acceptance by the prospective users was determined.
