Health and Safety Employee Involvement and Employee Engagement at Company ABC

Abstract:

This descriptive study determined the perceived level of health and safety employee involvement and engagement in Company ABC. Specifically, the researchers identified the demographic profile of the 67 respondents in Company ABC and how it affected their perception towards health and safety employee involvement and engagement. Survey questionnaires were used in gathering the needed data. Descriptive statistics was applied, specifically, frequency and percentage to analyze the results of the survey. Findings showed that most of the respondents were 20-30 years old, female, single, and had 2-5 years of service in the company. Most of them gave a high positive significance to the health and safety employee involvement and engagement. The researchers recommended that Company ABC utilize the results of this study as a guide in further developing the health and safety program that specifically involves the employees to increase their level of engagement and job satisfaction. Moreover, the employees in Company ABC may give higher performance and bring out the best in them as they become more involved and engaged in the company’s health and safety programs.
