Abstract:

Stress is physiological and psychological reactions to certain events in the environment (Tenibiaje, 2013) bringing about the feeling of pressure and tension that cause negative emotions like anxiety and anger. This study determined the level of work-related stress, classified the sources or reasons of stress of the respondents, and identified the stress management activities under Quality Work Life Balance Program that can be forwarded to Company XYZ. Survey with the field employees of Company XYZ and interview with the key informant, the HR Supervisor, were used in gathering the primary data. The results obtained showed that organizational factors such as work-related stress, demands of job, work life balance, and work environment caused the stress of the field employees. In work related stress, most of the respondents experienced headaches. In the demands of the job, stress rose due to too many functions. In the work life balance factor, inflexible working hours caused most of their stress. The required working clothes were the main reason for the stress of the employees in their work environment. The researchers recommended to the company to use the results of this study to relieve the stress of the employees in their work.
