The Effects of Rewards and Recognition on Job Performance of the Selected Employees in TS Tech Trim Philippines Inc. as Inputs to Enhance the Reward System

Abstract:

This descriptive study determined the effect of rewards and recognition system on the employee performance at TS Tech Trim Philippines Inc. Specifically, it identified the current rewards and recognition as well as their effects on the job performance of 50 office-based employees. To gather the needed data, survey was conducted while some other information were extracted from the TS Tech Trim Philippines Inc. Handbook. Findings showed that there were four rewards given by the company: the Perfect Attendance Award, Service (Loyalty) Award, Overseas Management Training, and Best in Kaizen Award. Each reward has its own criteria. The respondents agreed that their job performance was affected by rewards and recognition. The researchers recommended that TS Tech Trim Philippines Inc. should utilize the results of this study as guide and inputs for the enhancement of their current rewards and recognition system and for a better system package for the employees.
