Catherine May Completo | Nicole Anne Cruz | Carl Angelo Olivarez

Abstract:

The proponents believed that Bucal Bypass area could be an alternate route for the travelers to avoid the traffic in Halang and Crossing. With a limited number of cafés in the said area where the by-passers can eat and relax for a short time, the proponents thought of establishing a café that looks different from other cafés. It would offer brewed coffee which has an initial market share of 1.18%; espresso coffee with market share of 0.29%; cappuccino/latte, 0.29%; frappe, 0.23%; cakes, 0.9%; and cupcakes, 0.95% in the first year of operation. This market share would steadily increase in the succeeding years. The project would need an investment capital of Php 4,830,000.00. In the financial study, the proponents found that for every Php 1.00 invested, there would be a Php 1.54 in return. Mood Lift Cafe would recover its investment capital back in one year and nine months.
