Abstract:

Food Xpress (FOX) Application is a type of service that offers and delivers foods from local restaurants, fast-food chains, food parks and coffee shops through an application. It caters to the need of the people who are time-starved due to the demand of their jobs,nschool activities and household chores. The proposed application will allow the user to conveniently discover and search food from their favorite restaurants, fast-food chains, food parks and coffee shops, filtered by the type of food. The users have the power to choose a specific food from the menu and it will be processed and delivered door-to-door right after the customers have finalized their orders. The Food Xpress (FOX) Application will be available in the IOS App Store and Android Play Store. The proposed business will be at the 2nd floor of Equator Building in Brgy. Bucal, Calamba City, Laguna. The researchers chose this location because it is along the highway and the delivery-man can easily drive to the location of the food establishments and to the customer’s house. It will be registered at SEC and all other government agencies required in establishing the company. The proposed business will have seven employees who will receive fair and just compensation and benefits. The starting capital was estimated at Php 450,000.00 and each proponent will share Php 150,000.00 to complete the capital. The payback period of the Food Xpress (FOX) Application is 1.31 years. For its ROI, for every P1 invested, there will be a return of P12.13.
