Establishment and Development of a Child-Care Center with a Deped Approved Curriculum in Sta. Rosa, Laguna

Abstract:

EduCare Children’s Playhouse is a proposed child care center with an approved curriculum from the Department of Education to be established in Sta. Rosa, Laguna. It will help working parents who want to entrust their children to a child care center to play and learn from the approved curriculum. The proponents conducted survey with households in Sta. Rosa, Laguna to determine the number of parents who were willing to avail its services. Results revealed that 71% of the households had children between 1 - 6 years old; 59% were willing to enroll their children in EduCare Children’s Playhouse. Registered as business partners, the three owners will contribute an equal amount of money for the business to operate. The money will be used to acquire all the necessary office equipment, toys for the child care and the other necessities of the children to be enrolled. To ensure the quality service of the business, only the skilled and licensed teachers, nurses and psychologists will be hired.
