Abstract:

This design project developed an industrial fire detection system with push notification and trapped human locator by using an indoor positioning system which could be applied to industrial places. A fire incident is a threat to large industries and large-scale companies. Fire could destroy lives and properties. With this problem, the researchers came up with a fire alarm system that detects the possible cause of fire by using sensors, including fire alarm siren and light to give a warning to all the persons inside the area and to automatically send a warning message to the employees and fire station by using push notification. The designed project could also locate the trapped person by using the indoor positioning system. The fire fighters could access the application that displays the possible location of the trapped human being. The researchers concluded that the fire detection system could detect the possible cause of fire early, thus minimizing the damages of structures in large companies. It also doubles the speed of giving alerts to the emergency personnel and notifying the employees and the fire station by using the push notification. The designed project could also save lives by using the indoor positioning system that detects the location of the trapped human being. Furthermore, the project plays a big role in the work of the fire fighters to save lives.
