Abstract:

The study determined the agro-tourism practices in the selected services of Costales Nature Farms (CNF) in terms of customer focus, leadership, and continual improvement, as basis for ISO 9001:2015 accreditation; determined the services of CNF that adhere to the selected ISO 9001:2015 principles; and recommended possible solutions for the ISO 9001:2015 accreditation of CNF. This study used sequential exploratory design, thematic analysis, interview guides and observation checklist to gather the information needed for this study. The manager, receptionist, tour guide, post-harvest staff, and accountant of CNF were the participants and key informants interviewed. The researchers reviewed documents available in CNF for ISO 9001:2015 accreditation. Findings showed that generally, CNF cannot be considered as potential ISO 9001:2015 accredited. The data gathered, however, can be used to enrich the knowledge and understanding about the ISO accreditation. Correspondlingly, the study can help CNF to adapt realistic insights of their clientele to help them on ISO 9001:2015 accreditation and to improve their service features. Based on the results, the researchers forwarded recommendations for CNF, Department of Tourism, future customers, and Tourism students. Lastly, CNF should prioritize the requirements and the standards to be met for IS0 9001:2015 accreditation.
