Abstract:

The study determined the developmental growth of 30 preschool children of the Community Outreach for Preschool Education (COPE) of the College of Education, Trinity University of Asia for School year 2008-2009. The researchers utilized the Developmental Checklist by Dr. Sue Wortham, an internationally noted child educator, in determining the developmental growth of the preschoolers.

The study showed that the developmental growth of preschoolers enrolled in COPE Trinity University of Asia is on the ‘progress stage’. This means that the children are currently acquiring the basic skills in concept, social, and locomotor development which are requisites of their age.Â
