Abstract:

The College of Arts and Sciences of Arellano University, Main Campus, has at least 3 focal points for assessment: endeavour: a focus on 1) the General Education, 2) Liberal Arts Programs, and 3) the academic enterprise institutionally. The Assessment Committee created by CAS-APCOM came up with the existing Five-Year Assessment Program that aims to develop, improve, and sustain standards, procedures, and criteria which will determine the effectiveness of the learning process of the students. A triangulation technique through observation, documentary analysis and survey questionnaire was done to confirm the authenticity of the responses and to see if the existing program is favorably implemented for the attainment of the goals of CAS. This in turn will bring about a comprehensive review and the establishment of a guide for the effective implementation of the existing Five-Year Academic Assessment Program (2009-2014) of CAS
