Professor Emerita S. Quito's Ang Kasaysayan ng Pilosopiya must be a welcome addition to the still small file of masterly works in our Filipiniana library. The book has a lasting value not only because it is the first of its kind to be written in the native language, but also because it is a serious effort to give to our countrymen some gems of thought which together comprise a philosophic outlook worthy of the highest commendation.
