Abstract:

This study aimed to design the most suitable and efficient recovery method of spray powder paint for recycling purposes of Cornsteel Sytem Corporation in Brgy. Pulo, Cabuyao, Laguna.

All the information and data used in the study were gathered from interviews, plant visits, and research.

It was found out that the most practical and efficient design of recovery system is alternative solution no. 3, the modification of 16 cartridge filters, with the use of steel bar. This is because in terms of advantages, this option has the most benefit not only for the company but for the workers in the area of paint section booth. It shows that the wasted used powder paint can be recycled, thus, can be added to the savings of the company.
