Abstract:

Let us take General Emilio Aguinaldo, one of the greatest men in history as an example.  Happily this year is the centenary of his birth, and taking him as our example becomes fitting and auspicious.  For Aguinaldo himself is undoubtedly one of the greatest heroes in our history; and his place in public esteem is so high that a writer, rightly or wrongly, has called him “El Libertador de la Patria,” “The Liberator of the Country.”
