Enhancing a 3D Game Experience by Simulating Human Reaction to Stimulus

Karl Christian L. Inte

Abstract:

The purpose of this project is to present and enhance 3D game experience and imitate real life collisions upon impact on the playable character. Game developers in the industry of technology imitate realism in the gaming world through forced animation upon collision, thus limiting the body’s interaction when colliding with a force that pushes the character it hit. Since the proponent implemented the “Take hit damage” function, the character is able to execute the animation node sequence. And it is able to blend through physics thus resulting to a unique output. The proponent recommends for further enhancement and research more on how the engine works to achieve better performance particularly understanding how the Animation Tree works blending with physics asset.
