Abstract:

This study aimed to design a light tracker for solar panel to track the position of the sun to ensure radiant energy to hit the surface of the panel. This system could benefit people from the remote areas by assuring electric power during daytime and also it could help the homeowners and government agencies conserve energy.

To test the functionality of the device, the methods used were experimental development and descriptive approaches through the assessment of two purposively chosen evaluators.

The findings showed that the device could produce energy and could position the solar panel towards the sun.
