Abstract:

The study aimed to determine the demographic profile of the respondents in terms of gender, social support, and living condition; to seek out the stressors encountered by the Level I BSN students of the Colegio in terms of interpersonal, intrapersonal, academic, and environmental aspects; to identify the common methods of coping used by the respondents according to its different types – physical, social, and spiritual; and, to find out the significant relationship between the stressors encountered and the coping mechanisms used. This study utilized modified self-constructed questionnaires which were administered to the respondents.
