Abstract:

It is heartening and appropriate that the College of Arts & Sciences focuses on the issue of educational quality. A central purpose is to provide a general education of the highest possible quality, a "superior education" enabling Arellano University through the College to become "a model institution of learning," in the words of he University vision statement. An essential element of faculty, staff, and administrative job responsibilities must be to continually improve the quality of academic service. Likewise, students must contribute to the institution's pursuit of excellence and quality by coming here prepared to engage fully in the rigors of higher education and by taking responsibility for their education.
