Abstract:

The American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN) has reported decline in the enrollment growth in nursing programs in the United States. The members pointed out complex reasons driving the decrease in enrollment growth. Likewise, the population drop of students in the baccalaureate degree is now a national phenomenon in the Philippines. Hence, the researchers conducted the study to determine the external and internal factors related to the phenomenon for planning and policy formulation in the college of nursing.
