Personality Traits and Work Values of the Polytechnic University of the Philippines' Personnel: A Profile Comparison

Abstract:

This study made a comparative analysis on the relationship between personality traits and work values of the three groups of school personnel: the university officials, the teaching personnel or the faculty and the non- teaching personnel or the administrative staff and their personality traits. The descriptive survey method was employed in the study. The participants were six hundred and seven (607) randomly selected officials, faculty members and administrative personnel of PUP. Standardized instruments were used to measure the respondents’ personality traits and work values. Important findings and their practical implications were discussed.
