Development of a Compendium of Experiments for the Utilization of a Microwave Trainer System

Abstract:

The development of a compendium of experiments for the utilization of a microwave trainer system was undertaken to reinforce the teaching of the lecture component of the course in order for students to fully appreciate and learn the applications by performing experiments. This study aimed to develop a compendium of experiments in selected topics in Microwave Systems and determine its effectiveness.

This study utilized the descriptive type of research to assess the effectiveness of the compendium of experiments in selected topics in Microwave System. This method of research is a purposive process of gathering, analyzing, classifying, and tabulating such data. This method helped the proponent identify the existing conditions and obtain information, which revealed the results of the pretest and posttest. These results were the bases for identifying the effectiveness of the compendium of experiments in Microwave Systems.
