Effectiveness of Karapatan Mo, Karapatan Ko Din Campaign as Perceived by the Selected Persons with Disabilities of Marikina City

Abstract:

This study aims to increase the level of awareness, knowledge and attitude of the selected persons with disabilities (PWDs) of Marikina City after their exposure to an audio visual presentation on PWD rights and privileges. Twenty fve PWDs served as respondents for the control and experimental group. The researchers used a one group pre-test and post-test experimental group design. The results of the study showed that the target audio visual presentation is effective in giving awareness and knowledge of the respondents’ rights and privileges.
