Abstract:

This study investigates the impact of stress on the quality of life of college students during the COVID-19 pandemic. Further, descriptive-correlational research design was employed to obtain the respondents' profiles regarding their stress, physical health, psychological health, social relationships, and environmental health. A total number of two hundred twenty-four (224) college students participated in the study. The researcher utilized two standardized questionnaires to gather the data from the respondents: The perceived Stress Questionnaire with thirty (30) items and the World Health Organization Quality of Life – BREF with twenty-six (26) items. The null hypothesis was tested at 0.05 level of significance and was analyzed through multiple regression analysis. The statistical analysis of the study presented a significant impact of the college students' stress on their quality of life. Interpretations and conclusions were formulated from the research findings, and the researchers provided recommendations at the end of the research for the beneficiaries of this study.
