Abstract:
This research was designed to examine the users’ needs,
resources, and services of the Zamboanga Chong Hua High
School Library. It specifically investigated the respondents’
profiles in terms of age and sex, their needs as library users, the
resources available, and the services provided by the
Zamboanga Chong Hua High School Library. This study
employed a descriptive-quantitative survey research design
using a non-probability purposive sampling technique, with 30
respondents. The data were analyzed using frequency counts,
percentages, mean, and t-test. The findings revealed that the
library meets the needs of its users, library resources are
sometimes available, and the provision of library services is
generally good. There is no significant difference in Learning
and Educational Needs and Technology and Digital Needs
between the two age groups; however, a significant difference
exists in Access to Information Needs. Furthermore, there is a
significant difference in Learning and Educational Needs
between gender groups, while no significant difference is
observed in Access to Information Needs and Technology and
Digital Needs.
