Abstract:

 

The study aimed to reduce the operating cost of the compressed air system for the whole plant of Sorosoro Ibaba Development Cooperative in Sororo Ibaba, Batangas City (SIDC). SIDC is a feed milling plant considered as one of the top feed producers in the whole province of Batangas.

 

Data were analyzed using mathematical equations to solve company’s investment and money to be saved in the conduct of the study. It included the economic study, machine consumption, and technical data provided by the company. The study focused only on the main compressor of the plant.

 

The study conducted comprehensive analysis of the compressor to find solutions for reducing the operating cost of the system.
