Notre Dame Journal

The Notre Dame University is the owner and publisher of the Notre Dame Journal, and printed by the Notre Dame Press, located at Notre Dame Avenue, Cotabato City. The ND Journal is published annually and issued in the month of June. The Notre Dame Journal has been focusing on Mindanao Studies, particularly on the Southwestern Philippines. The articles published are in the areas of: governance in the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM); peace and development; and other studies that clarify issues on Moro justice system, conflict, ancestral domain, gender and development, and the socio-cultural and political life of the Moro and indigenous peoples in Mindanao. The PASCHR Journal

The fifth conference of the South and Southeast Asian Association for the Study of Culture and Religion (SSEASR) held at the University of Santo Tomas from May 16-19, 2013 with the theme “Healing, Belief Systems, Cultures, and Religions of South and Southeast Asia” led to the idea of establishing a local and national version of the regional association of the SSEASR, with the goal of contributing to the advancement and deepening of Philippine studies on culture and religion by using multidisciplinary, interdisciplinary, and transdisciplinary approaches. Such was a dream of the SSEASR President, Dr. Amarjiva Lochan, which was then supported by the Filipino participants present during the conference. This meeting of minds and intentions soon led to the formation of a small working group whose willing members formed an ad hoc committee for the legal establishment of what came out to be known as the Philippine Association for the Study of Culture, History, and Religion (PASCHR). The association was then registered as a legalprofessional and academic group at the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) of the Philippines on September 9, 2013. The following founding members closely coordinated with Dr. Lochan in establishing the group: Dr. Esmeralda Sanchez of the University of Santo Tomas; Albert B. Banico of the San Sebastian College; Delilah R. Labajo of San Carlos University; and Dr. Grace Odal-Devora of the University of the Philippines-Manila. These educators were engaged in research on Philippine Studies. Later on, the following people became part of the association’s founding members: Dr. Arvin D. Eballo of the University of Santo Tomas; Beejay Sebastian of the Holy Angel University; Michael Raymond Pangilinan, an independent researcher from Angeles City, Pampanga; and Mayor Arnel F. Mendoza, Ph.D., the local head of the municipality of Bustos, Bulacan who supported the endeavors and ideals of the new association.

The PNC Dangal Research Journal is a scholarly publication that has evolved and improved over the years. The journals issued from 2018 to 2021 underwent an institutional review process. However, subsequent releases have raised the bar by subjecting their contents to a refereed review, ensuring a higher level of quality and credibility. Asian Journal of Tourism and Hospitality Research

The Asian Journal of Tourism and Hospitality Research (AJTHR) is an international refereed journal dedicated to the advancement of knowledge frontiers and improvement of practice in tourism and hospitality management. The journal publishes full-length articles, research notes, and case studies from an interdisciplinary and cross-cultural perspective. Articles submitted by both academic and practitioners are reviewed anonymously by at least two members of the international editorial board.

The IAMURE International Journal of Marine Ecology as an integrative science, studies the basic structural and functional relationships within and among living populations and their physical-chemical environments in marine ecosystems. It focuses on specific organisms as well as on particular environments or physical settings. Topics include sea birds, fish, invertebrates, mammals, reptiles, fungi, plants and algae, microscopic life, marine habitats (intertidal shore, reefs, open ocean, deep sea and trenches).

Philippiniana Sacra

Philippiniana Sacra is the official Publication of the Ecclesiastical Faculties of the University of Santo Tomas, Manila. The journal started publication in 1966.

It was envisioned with a purpose and a hope. The purpose was to publish the scientific output of the Ecclesiastical Faculties (Philosophy, Theology and Canon Law) of the University. The hope, to validate already acquired verities with new conquests in the larger areas of contemporary knowledge.

The regular sections of Philippiniana Sacra are Articles, Studies, Philippiniana Records and Book Reviews. Of special interest for historians and researchers is the section “Philippiniana Records,” where original manuscript materials, mainly from the UST Archives, are published for the first time.

Philippine Journal of Counseling Psychology

The Philippine Journal of Counseling Psychology is refereed journal published annually by the Philippine Association for Counselor Education, Research, and Supervision (PACERS). The journal features original research manuscripts on relevant issues that will be of interest to counseling psychologists, counselors, counselor educators, counseling researchers and other mental health professionals working in different settings and within an Asian context . The journal gives special attention to empirical studies on: (1) counseling techniques and intervention strategies; (2) the development and validation of assessment instruments that can be used in counseling; (3) group treatment and development programs; and (4) counselor education and supervision. The journal also welcomes critical essays and review articles directly related to counseling psychology.

Philippine Association for the Sociology of Religion Journal

The PASR Journal is the official journal of the Philippine Association for the Sociology of Religion (PASR). It publishes (1) theoretical and methodological papers on religion as a social institution and as a process especially in relation to other social structures in Philippine society; (2) academic reviews of recent books and articles in the sociology of religion; and (3) reflections about fora, seminars and conferences organized by PASR. The Journal of History

The Journal of History is the official publication of the Philippine National Historical Society (first named Philippine Historical Society), an organization of historians and practitioners of history, organized in February 1941. It is a nationally refereed journal that publishes selected papers from the National Conferences on National and Local History of the Philippine National Historical Society which have been recommended by an Editorial Advisory Board. The Journal publishes articles on local/regional and national history presented by young and upcoming scholars as well as recognized historians and other specialists on Philippine culture and society. It promotes studies of local history in the context of national history and encourages multidisciplinary study in related social science disciplines.
