Strategic Directions for Research at the Central Colleges of the Philippines

Abstract:

Research is an indicator that a school/entity bothers to re-research or find answers to certain problems. However, the quality of this turn-out from theses and dissertations, as well as papers, has remained wanting, with the exception of some truly good ones. The importance of doing research cannot be overemphasized for those in higher education. Students and teachers, all kinds of professionals benefit from the results of studies, be they classroom-based or more sophisticated studies that have led to policy changes, improved design in appliances or safer driving of vehicles, including the flying of airplanes.
