Abstract:

The purpose of this study is to assess the students’ satisfaction level of the facilities and services provided by the Center for Science Laboratories and Services for the SY 2011-2013. A survey research design was utilized to carry out this study. The findings indicated that the students were highly satisfied with the facilities (Biology Laboratory and Chemistry Laboratory) and satisfied with the services offered by the center. A further finding was that the biology and chemistry laboratories ranked first as the most satisfying laboratory room for SY 2011-2012 and SY 2012-2013, respectively. However, the students suggested that the center upgrade, repair certain fixtures, and maintain a well-ventilated room, as part of the improvement of laboratory facilities; and that BU should put in place a good staff-student relationship since the “unapproachable staff” ranked first among the components that needed improvement in the center’s services.
