The study aims to assess the employability of the graduates in the 5 programs of the CEDE for the 5-year period from SY 2004-2005 to SY 2008-2009, and to generate important and needed data for the improvement of its institutional programs for greater effectiveness and relevance. Of the 5 engineering programs offered by the CEDE, the overall employability rate was recorded at 83.19% with the BS in Civil Engineering registering the highest rank at 95.24% employability rate. The Mechanical Engineering registered a consistent employability rate among the programs, dropping only 8 points based on the previous study conducted while the Civil Engineering gained as much as 15%. At the lowest rank was the BS in Electronics and Communications Engineering graduates at 76.74 % employability. Most of the employed respondents earn between P5,000 to P15,000. A very important findings as compared to the previous study was the desire of the graduates for the CEDE to improve on the aspect of industry exposure of students and industry trainings, curricular and instruction improvement, job assistance, and faculty development.
