Students’ Multiple Intelligences vis-à-vis Teachers’ Teaching Style

Abstract:

The study made use of the descriptive research design involving survey through the use of a questionnaire. There were two (2) groups of participants in this study. The first group was the students of the College of Teacher Education of St. Paul University Surigao enrolled during the second semester of Academic Year 2013-2014. The second group was the teachers in the unit and teachers who are handling education subjects/students from other units in the same institution. The study made use of two (2) types of questionnaires, adopted-added questionnaire for the students in determining their multiple intelligences, and researcher-made questionnaire for the teacher-participants. The data gathered were analyzed and interpreted using the following statistical tools, frequency count and simple percentage, ranking, chi-square test, standard deviation, and Pearson Product Moment coefficient of correlation.
