The book, Arquitectura Espanola en Pilipinas; 1565-1800. by Maria Lourdes Diaz-Trechuelo Spinola, from which the following notes have been derived, is 18 x 26 cm. and contains 564 pages, exclusive of 192 plates of plans, sketches and photographs. Among the illustrations are two old maps of Mindanao one dated 1683 and presumably prepared by the Recollect Fathers, the other, 1757, drawn by Nicolas Norton Nicols.
