Abstract:

The study attempted to improve the equipment requisition and inventory process of the School of Tourism and Hospitality Management (STHM). It should be further developed with a barcode technology and an Android App to better improve
its features. The proponents used the descriptive method of research to obtain the necessary data to develop the system. Through informal interview and survey, the users were asked to assess their current system as well as the new automated
system using the five-point ranking scale. The study found that the new system met the objectives of the study and satisfied the needs of the client based on the set criteria for system development, namely: usability, accuracy, security, and efficiency. The researchers recommended a faster internet connection be used in order to have a stable connectivity to the system. Other possible enhancements in the system were also forwarded.
