JOB-SMGS: ONLINE JOB APPLICATION WITH JOB MATCHING FOR SANMARU MANPOWER AND GENERAL SERVICES

Abstract:

    The researchers created, designed, and developed a JOB-SMGS online job application with job matching for Sanmaru Manpower and General Services to upgrade the current method for the following: recruiting applicants, announcing/posting jobs, keeping and organizing applicants’ records, and screening applicants. Iterative WaterFall Model was used in developing the system. PHP Hypertext Preprocessor was the server scripting language used; MySQL as the database of the system. Descriptive research was used to conduct the study. The researchers interviewed employees and applicants to gather the needed data to create the intended system. They used total enumeration to get accurate results. Also, the researchers conducted survey and used ISO 9126 to evaluate the system.
