Abstract:

    The GMSI used manual processing of recording all the transactions of pay slips and payroll through Microsoft Excel which served as their database but this often resulted to common problems such as data duplication and loss.

    The proponents developed a web-based payroll system to help the Accounting and Human Resource assistants in managing their payroll and pay slip, to organize and secure database where they can store the data, and to help minimize the problems. The proposed system was hoped to provide improvement to their current process. In the process of analyzing the procedures for the development of the system, the proponents gathered data through interview with the personnel in the Finance and Human Resource Department.. Survey questionnaires, on the other hand, were to evaluate the system.
