Abstract:

This study intended to help Laguna Chess Association by minimizing the onsite registration during tournaments so that the tournament proper could start on time and to make the association’s announcements available in the Internet. An information system and other minor features were also included.

Using descriptive research design, the researchers conducted a pre-assessment survey with the members to determine the current problem of the association. Results revealed that the main problems were the dissemination of announcements and the time consumed during the tournament registration, causing the tournament proper to start late. Post-assessment survey, on the other hand, indicated that the system resolved the clients’ main problems.
