THE IMPACT OF ISO CERTIFICATION TOWARDS WORK- LIFE BALANCE OF SELECTED EMPLOYEES OF LETRAN-CALAMBA

Abstract:

This research determined the relationship between quality of work life and level of stress before and after ISO Certification in Letran-Calamba. Randomly selected 20 employees on four divisions of Administration and Planning, Finance, Academics and Research, and Religious Education Mission and Identity Division were surveyed. Results showed that before ISO certification the level of stress was low; after, the level of stress became moderate. The quality of work life was determined to be good; after ISO certification, there was an increase in the overall level of assessment. The researchers concluded that there is a relationship between level of stress and quality of work life of the selected employees of Letran-Calamba. They recommended to the Colegio to use this study as indicator of future performance evaluation and to increase the level of awareness of the employees and the management to sustain the work life balance of the employees of Letran-Calamba; for the employees of Letran-Calamba, to control their level of stress and increase the quality of their work-life.
