IMPROVEMENT OF ENERGY CONSERVATION SYSTEM OF COLEGIO DE SAN JUAN DE LETRAN CALAMBA

Abstract:

Energy is expensive and mostly scarce, the reason why most establishments/institutions create their own energy management systems suitable for their operation. In the case of Colegio de San Juan de Letran Calamba, it utilizes the automation technology of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC). Although the system was effective in terms of energy conservation, the researchers noticed several lapses on its functions. Thus, this study intended to improve the energy conservation system of the Colegio by installing three different electronic devices/sensors.
