Abstract:

This research developed a new way of minimizing energy consumption through a microcontroller-based device capable of controlling electrical appliances via web, making it available for Internet capable devices. The device was designed to manage household energy appliances by constantly monitoring electrical consumption and cost by calculating the amount of power on a real time basis.
