Abstract:

This study presented effective alternatives to reduce unnecessary fire alarm and to upgrade the current fire alarm system in Calamba City Fire Station, namely, using e-mail and audible alarm with push button and heat sensor, using short message service (SMS), sensor, push button, and audible alarm, and using voice call and audible alarm with push button and heat sensors setup. The management agreed to the use of SMS and audible alarm to improve the method with main consideration on the maintenance of this device.
