Cutains Lifted: A Filipino Professor in the Soviet Union

Abstract:

I visited the Soviet Union from October 24 to November 2 upon the invitation of the United Nations Association of the USSR (UNA-USSR) in my capacity as Executive Board member of the United Nations Association of the Philippines (UNAP). My trip was arranged by Mr. Herman Shevchenko of the local Embassy of the Soviet Union. It was the UNA-USSR, however, which funded travel arrangements and accomadations.
